While I was in National Bookstore today, a girl in her early 20s was crying by the photocopying section. I wanted to comfort her for no reason so I approached her. She said that her sister is lost that was why she was photocopying her sister’s photo so she can post them around their area in Zapote, Las Pinas. I took one copy and promised her that I’ll help through posting the photo online....

Yung pangalawa, Pajero na nag-counterflow. So normally, habang tumatawid ako, sa kabilang side ako nakatingin. Then I just happened to look at the other side and saw this fast-ehs Pajero with the blinding headlights heading towards me. Deer in headlights mode, shet. This 2009, I am grateful for:
- My academic standing. I may not have a chance at graduating with honors, but I am happy that I don’t have really low grades. I am happy that I chose Creative Writing, even if I am buried under books and readings and even if I stretch my brains just to come up with something to write.
